What a weekend!!
Discussion
It's weekends like that which makes all that winter driving worth while!
After just getting my beast back I decided that she needed a little treat, to say sorry for bending her in feb.
So in addition to my Sports Exhaust I fitted the sport160 throttle body and Hurricane Induction kit, along with a JVC Mp3 TFT Colour screen Stereo.
To be honest I can't write a review on the stereo because the sound of the sports exhaust and the induction kit made me wet my self.
If you’re thinking about fitting the hurricane Induction kit I would recommend taking you wheel off and wheel arch liner. It makes it so much easier to connect the plastic scoop and pipe to the side air vent. Plus you have loads of room to tidy up your work.
The hardest bit was taking off the OEM air box. Mine was a right sod, the bolt holding the air box to the metal plate had split the plastic, and every time you tried to un screw it the bolt was just spinning round and round
. In the end I had to remove the metal plate and hacksaw the bolt off, and reattach the plate.
I took me about 2.5hrs to fit start to finsh, but I did decided to clean up my engine bay and tape up some lose bits and bobs, in an attempt to de-rattle my car.
The sound my motor makes now is superb, the std K-series chatter has been replaced with a proper sports car roar!

Good lad - sounds brilliant. Had the same sort of problem with mine when trying to fit the bl--dy huzza. Ended up letting Sinclaires kill the airbox as I didn't have the guts to do it myself in the end.
The Hurricane just gets better as it beds in too, mine seems to have developed a more boomy note after being on there for 1k now. I love it. You should hold your hand over the intake and have someone rev the engine and feel how much more it 'sucks' air in than the OEM one. Brilliant!
