Have any of you (many) Africa Twin owners tried using the A41 on it? People seem to rave about the A41 for all kinds of bikes so just wondering if anyone has tried it?

Yes, I fitted them last May, I did 5000 miles touring on them around Europe and am on about 8000 miles on them now .. they still have quite a lot of tread left but have squared off on the rear and are tram lining everywhere now .. I was mostly on Tarmac but not much motorway .. the only "off road" was road works where they had removed the Tarmac and left gravel or sand .. I have no complaints about them .. I am starting to think about their replacement and will most probably get some more ..

Excellent, thanks! I've been using TKC80s and I knew they wouldn't last long, so going to be changing them soon (1,500 miles).

Excluded the TKC70s for any particular reason?

I'll been honest I've been quite impressed, but little reference.

The only reason I've discounted TKC70 is that it seems impossible to buy a TT set from the same place!

It looks like the Trail Attack 3 is out now, so I'm tempted by those to replace my current TA 2's, given I'm not sure how long lived the A41 is likely to be.

Not checked with my local guy yet. I'm currently going for 'Squarest Profile Tyre' award, M5 section, so it'll be in the next few weeks.

What is TT? tubeless tyre?

Don’t think it needs to be mate. Tubes work fine in them...

Mine are just normal ones. I fitted myself.
