Wiggins Teape Escort Mexico Brands 1971 Brian Muir
Discussion
As above. In 1971 ( May I believe ) a new Escort Mexico which had been finished in Wiggins Teapes colours, was given away as a competition prize @ Brands Hatch.
The lucky winner was treated to a lap of the circuit by the sadly Late / Great Brian Muir ( who drove the Malcolm Gartlan built Z-28 Camaro, which ran in Wiggins Teapes colours for 70 and 71.
The race poster has the Z-28 on it and i am guessing that the Mexico was finished in a similar colour scheme
Anyone have any more info on this Mexico ?

Have you contacted the AVO Owners Club?
If anyone had any info, it would likely have been Andy Percival who many years ago had been the Mexico Registrar, and owned/restored one of the original mexico Shell Sport cars, and if anyone had come across any info it would have been him, and any info would be with the current Mex Registrar.
