This week's head scratcher with the 350 rebuild. Horns work fine at ignition off and position 1, but nothing at position 2. All else works fine lights, fan etc just kills the horns. All wiring double checked through relays and all as diagrams. Anybody else experienced this?

I reckon the horn relay fitted is the wrong type, by this I mean the configuration of the terminals
What is very likely happening is that the incorrect relay is allowing the switched negative from the horn switch to go directly through its contacts to the horns, when switching the ignition on the relay is switching the contacts to the open position
This means that at present the horns aren't relayed

Well this is what I think and I'm sticking to it
Good luck in fixing it

The vast majority of electrical issues I've had with my two Wedges have been down to bad earth's. I've not looked at the wiring schematic but is there anyway this could be an earth fault at the relay end?

I looked at the wiring diagram, and I suspect the relay has been fitted in the wrong orientation.
As several other items are using the same feeds, and they are not affected, then it points to either how the wires are orientated in the relay socket or the relay itself is fitted incorrectly.
TBH with testing the socket pins with a bulb/meter its guess work

Pointed me in the right direction, played around with a few wires, ended up swapping the 2 white on the ignition relay 1 and problem solved. Wiring Diagram is incorrect. Thanks.
