Struggling to diagnose as I can't read fuel rail pressure with my obd and the cable I bought off eBay doesn't seem to work with my laptop!!
I did pull the code P3005 from my obd2 though.

Basically rough as fook on idle. Accelerate and it cuts out as revs build up to about 2000rpm.

So disconnecting each injector individually so see how it reacts, cylinder 1,2,3 noticeable difference difference. Cylinder 4 makes no difference at all...So at this point in thinking it's cylinder 4 related and running on 3 cylinders.

But a compression test shows a strong 220psi across all 4 cylinders!

So I've replaced the injector and no change.

I checked voltages at pressure sensor and voltage and reference voltage all come back good. I have put on a new fuel pump and pressure sensor for good measure.

I have put a noid light on the injector loom for #4 And it's flashing indicating the injector is being pulsed.

Any thoughts guys?

You look like you have covered most things now, but I’d still be suspicious about that injector loom, noid lights need virtually no current to light up, injectors do - so a dodgy loom might be able to give enough current to light the noid but not enough to open the injector. Also what does the connections look like on to the injector- if someone has previously stuck the ends of a multimeter in ther then they may have bent the the female end of the connector back .

But essentially, if u have compression, fuel, air supply and clear exhaust hen it should be running. In theory the port for number 4 intake could be completely blocked but it’s not likely. Both Exhaust valves may be stuck closed but again it’s unlikely if cylinder 1 -3 is ok.

Hey
I've finally got inpa working and can ready codes.

So attached as 2 images ..
One is fuel rail pressure... So as you can see desired pressure isn't being achieved. About 2 thirds desired is there.

Second is selective mass adjustment...this obviously indicates a fault... cylinder 4 neg and cylinder 1 pos... now cyl4 (assuming timing chain end is 1 on this longitudinal engine) is the one that makes no difference to engine pitch when injector is unplugged.

Does anybody have any knowledge on this?
