Fractured coccyx - how long to heal?

I slipped getting out of the bath (good hard cast iron!) and only dropped about a foot onto my assbone.
Apparently it can take between 4 weeks to 6 months to heal!
Has anyone any experience? - it's bloody sore just to sit down on about 3 pillows at the minute, even dosed up with Tramadol.
Will I ever sit comfortably again?
