My new T350t is proving tempramental. I drive it a minimum 20 miles every day but am finding that the battery keeps going flat.

Its left me stranded on 4 occasions in the last few weeks. Its sporadic and the dealer can't find the problem via battery drp tests; my suspicion is the alternator isnt charging it properly when driven. Has anyone any similar experiences or suggestions?

I now travel with jump leads and a spare power pack which doesn't look cool!

Not had it and it obviously should not be happening... take it back to the dealer (assuming you purchased it there) ask for a hire car and tell them to keep it until fixed. Mine has stood for two weeks and started first time.. not much help.. but that is what I think

Have you tried removing some of the main fuses to see if that helps? Things like the fuel pumps/ECU for instance. Also, have you tried not locking the car overnight to see if this helps?

Someone like the AA should be able to test whether the alternator is putting charge back into the battery when they come and jump start you next time (they do this so the owner knows whether he needs to buy a new battery or not).

Could just be a duff battery too.

Hi Pablo.

I have justed started getting the same problem after 14 trouble free months.

Did you ever get to the bottom of your problem?

Thx.

I had a similar problem with my Tuscan it was an earthing strap and the back of the engine that needed the contacts cleaned and tightened.

Main dealers didn't know about it, Andy at Tower View fixed it in 5 mins. After months of new batteries, keeping it on a battery conditioner and lots of money resetting the meta alarm everytime it went flat.
