25th anniversary colours? - 2007 Honda VFR800
Discussion
Hi everyone,
With the ice and salt slowly disappearing from the roads I can't help but think about which bike to upgrade to in a couple of months. I've been riding a CB500x mainly for commuting/building experience. I already have an appreciation of Honda engines, coming from an S2000 - before taking up motorcycles. This led me to think about the VFR800, specifically in these stunning 25th anniversary tricolours;

Having seen this sound test video a few times the Delkevic exhaust cans sound utterly sweet, especially on downshifts;

The want is very, very strong indeed.
So, I was wondering if anyone here knew if many of this edition ever came to the UK, and if they did, what kind of price they command due to the rarity. Ideally I need to know if these are like hen's teeth, perhaps I should scale back my expectations and just go for a well maintained 2004/5/6 bike, thankfully there seem to be quite a few options in this manufacturing year bracket.
Thanks in advance!

I've got one, I've never seen another.
Was looking for a VFR for a mate, happened across this and had to have it.
I also have the Delkevic exhaust, sounds like a V8 on idle, it is a fantastic sound, brings a smile every time.
Edit
Thinking about it the cheapest way to get one is probably too buy a good VTEC and fit Chinese RWB fairing kit.

Wow, what's the chances of that. Not only do you actually own one but you've fitted the same exhaust! Did you get inspiration from that same youtube clip, I wonder?Was looking for a VFR for a mate, happened across this and had to have it.

How do you find the bike - and is it really any slower than the red ones?... (:
I bet that must put a huge smile on your face every time you start it up. Thanks for taking the time to share the photo.
Anyone else out there who has seen or knows anything about these 25th anniversary bikes?
No problem at all, I wouldn't of seen this thread, but for the same mate I was looking for a VFR for pointing me at it (his bike with mine in the Alps pictured) As you can see by my stats, I've been here a long while and posted very little.
I had a 1990 750 FL before hand, the VTEC is much more refined, 15 year age gap will do that, I love it. It does make me smile every time it's true.
The Delkevic cans came with it, as did the 8 spoke, and full luggage. I'm changing the cans, I've got a set of staintunes on the way from Australia. Not a fan of the style of the Delks.
As for not being as fast as a red one... It's got a splash of red in there just for that purpose 😁
