Paint / Wrap...colour
Discussion
So with the chassis off to be blasted and the engine rebuilt its time to think body-work.
The paint is not bad but there are stone chips to the front and a few marks here and there but costa are running very high, which leads me to my question.......
Can I get away with a wrap for now or should I bite the bullet? I know a couple of people who are pleased with their wraps but just how good do they look and how long do they last (appreciate it depends on care etc)? How paint like do glossy wraps look?
Colour...mines GTS viper blue which Is really nice but personally I’ve always loved yellow on the cerb...and the Chim actually.
Whats the consensus?

I love the Full Dip with lacquer finish done on my Chimaera by Matt-Pack.co.uk
I had a fairly wacky colour and did the prep myself. Cost was around £1200 to have the car sprayed.
For that price he doesn't do the door shuts or under the bonnet, so having wanted yellow I ended up with a colour that would go with the Starmist Blue in said orifices.
If I could be arsed to polish it, it would probably be as shiny as paint. Once it has hardened (as with paint) it is as durable, if not even more so, than paint. In 12,000 miles and nearly two years I have collected only one or two stone chip marks. I had plastidip previously.......nowhere near as good

Cheers QBEE, looking good!
Here's a grief we did few weeks back - the owner (on here) came here and did it, while learning how to do it.
