Hi all ,
I’ve previously looked for help in picking a model that’s right for me , I wanted a good spec car and not having owned a Porsche before I needed to drive the old and new model. Flew in last week and visited a Porsche dealer and a specialist and drove a 981 and a 718 , both non S models.
Happy as a pig in the s
t as I’ve put a deposit down on a Nicely specked low mileage model with Cameron sports cars . Gt silver/espresso on a 14 with only13k

That was one on my radar.
Nice, esp PASM and the loud button.
Loud button is a must have, silly season.Nice, esp PASM and the loud button.
Only thing missing from my long list of must haves is h/seats and cruise.i can add cruise later myself but I’ve heard seat loom isn’t in place.might fit a kit to existing seats if I really miss it on the 04.30 starts but prob not essential

Lovely looking car, and the leather dash really makes them feel special inside. What did you think of the 718 in comparison?
I thought the car was quick and sounded good but I think the flat6 edged it out on noise/feel. No doubt even on my short drives the 718 is an engineering step up tho o think if I bought one it’s one would be a poverty spec model and also I’d prob never experience the flat 6 experience

Congrats . Brave with the interior colour.
I like the Espresso interior....saw a Crayon Turbo S Cab with it...looked the dogs danglies! Specced by an OPC as a showroom car and sold very quickly. Edited by tedblog on Thursday 14th February 14:22
So I’ve always wanted to complete the trinity of convertibles ,I think these were my favorites and wanted to own them all so in order of ownership......
