So this snuck past me as I assumed it would just be delayed and delayed, but it's being released tomorrow! Be a nice change of scene from forza and PUBG.

Anyone else going to get it?

ETA: I've just looked at the reviews... Hmm.

Probably not, I'm not a graphics snob or anything, but the amount of delays it's had, and the fact it's now 2019, I was expecting it to look better than what has been released. It looks similar to Saints Row: The Third.

Played until the first boss, never tried the previous instalments but it does remind me of Agents of Mayhem, which may not be a good thing. Fun for now but looks like it will get rather samey, but on the other hand it does have Terry Crews.

Picked it up cheap as I had some Argos vouchers. Installing now and will hopefully manage a bit tonight. Not expecting anything ground-breaking but so long as it gives a similar amount of fun to the first one, I'll be happy.

I'm enjoying this. I was a massive fan of the original Crackdown, and this is pretty much more of the same.
Multiplayer sounds a bit rubbish though..

Yeah I'm really enjoying it. It's just fun, story is pretty standard affair, the map is quite generic but we'll made. Runs absolutely flawlessly.

Bit old fashioned but it's actually a breath of fresh air to be honest.

It is free if you have the Microsoft gamespass so save your pennies.

If you don't have Games pass, save your pennies, this game is awful.

I am a huge Crackdown fan and have been waiting this for a long time, so far it is a huge fail. In the past you could string explosions and all sorts together blowing up cars and passers by (getting chased by the agency). Now the city feels empty, theres about 4 people walking around, a few cars and none of the pace of the originals.

I will stick at it to give it a bit more of a go but so far it has taken a great series and got nowhere with it.

I'm bored of it already. Combat is more irritating than fun - you're constantly being shot at from all directions by weak but endlessly respawning enemies, so it makes more sense to just ignore them and run for the target. City seems completely lifeless as well, I get told my actions are inspiring the militia to rise up, but nothing seems to change.

Quite. It isn't like it has been rushed for release either, its been delayed a few times - the city is just sparse on solo, I wonder if it is due to the amazing blow everything up city scape that requires multiplayer?

I finally unlocked the tank which I thought should be good fun - it has no splash damage, so unless you hit a target dead on it's useless. How do you design an explosive weapon with no splash damage!?

Sad to say I have uninistalled this massive let down of a game. So much promise, so little delivered. Maybe the multiplayer is good but this was primarily a fast paced action supercop romp. After destroying a checmical lab I went to destroy some cars as I was bored, 1 car appears, blow it up then 3 or 4 in fast succession appear but no exploding chains and still only 3 pedestrians.
