Good Day,
Currently these are not draining and water is getting into the car. Under the car there is a small hole with a rubber hose protruding. I am assuming this is the drain and it is blocked. Before I tear into this I was hoping someone has experienced this an might give me some pointers.

Thanks,

Millard.

Not sure about fastbacks but on dropheads that may be the fuel tank expansion overflow pipe. So you might want to proceed with caution there.

It is definitely the drain hole on the fhc, should correspond with the corner of the hatch.

I used to unblock mine by poking a straight bit of wire through, an old metal coat hanger would be ideal.

As Adam has said, a bit of rubber poking out the bottom corner is the fuel vent / overflow thing

Yeah but thiis is a hardtop so it might be a water drain, I would sniff the end for fumes before poking (fnarr).

On my 350 FHC, there was a piece of rubber hose sticking down each side that went up to the corner of the rear window.

I used a length of nylon chord (bit chopped off of a cheap washing line)

Hi,I have a fhc and there are 2 hoses in each rear corners -1 fuel breather the other is the rear hatch drain. The rear hatch drain happens to have a piece of piano wire permanently inside it and looped back in ,so it can be unblocked whenever needed. So can identify which is which. Will post photo in the morning.hope this will help.

Hi,took photos. You can see tube with wire in which is the drain for the glass hatch - which is behind rear wheel. The breather for the tank comes out in the outer corner of the lower valance for the exhaust tailpipes - so about an inch inboard of the hatch drain - hard too photo. [url]

I removed the panels and confirmed the hoses exiting the bottom were the drains. I managed to get a small wire through each to clear. On the driver's side there is an additional hose that is recessed that I need to confirm but based on feedback I am assuming it is the tank vent.
French Dave, I appreciate the pictures. The use of the piano wire is a great idea and I will be doing something similar.
As always thanks for the feedback. The knowledge of this forum's members is the best.
