SEAT Leon FR 2.0 TDI vs TSI (Which to buy and why?)

Calling ALL SEAT LEON FR 2.0 TSI AND TDI OWNERS!
Sooo I have a dilemma here whereby I’m stuck between two vehicles and due to personal circumstances alongside pros and cons of the vehicles, I just cannot seem to pick which one to purchase which is why I turn to you all! - Lend a helping hand in making such a decision and here are the points to consider:-
1. I intend to keep the vehicle for atleast 2 years
2. I do a minimum of 300 miles a week plus the occasional extra 300 miles. So lets put the average at 450 miles a week.
3. The TDI is great on fuel with mpg and £10 can get you around 70 miles whereas, with the TSI £10 gets you around 30 miles HOWEVER, I’m not too sure on this so this question is for you owners! How many miles does a full tank AND £10 get you for both the TSI and TDI but also what is the average mpg?
4. The TDI has reported issues with DPF and Injectors but I’m not too sure how common this is so please let me know!
5. TSI is a bit quicker sitting at 208bhp whereas the TDI is at 168bhp ish, but overall they’re both great cars
6. And ofc the tax and insurance is lower for the TDI but that doesn’t really matter too much.
7. For cars im looking at the TDI has 80k miles and the TSI has 71k, with the TSI at full service history and the TDI with little to none and a recent service.
8. TSI has both belt and chain (at 71k miles neither has been changed), belt on the TDI has not been changed and waterpumps in both haven’t.. what’s the cost for this and also when do they have to be changed if at all?
With my journeys in mind (mileage on a weekly) and cost of fuel with potential future repairs to the 2 vehicles which one seems like the more logical and cheapest option in the long run? Put yourself into my shoes considering all of the above and let me know which one you would buy and why but also, if you can answer the questions regarding fuel, mpg, dpf, injectors and just general problems with TSI or TDI Seat Leon FR 2.0’s so, I can make an informed decision.

TDI will do 50+mpg on a long run easily (60mpg if steady) - although I'm basing that on the 181bhp FR. The tsi will be down nearer 40 at best (unless you're nursing it) - I'm basing that on a guess based on a new golf gti.
There's no way you'd only get 30 miles on £10 of petrol though. Probably double that - although depends where you're buying your fuel (£2/litre?!?)

50 vs 35mpg is a more realistic margin, also the taxation won't be retrospective, the precedent is set diesels will have to be euro6 to avoid any future legislation but that won't be for a fair few years (unless you're around London), also with the high C02 levels being reported councils are thinking about a blanket Euro6 schemes that will tax anything that isn't.
So my advice to you OP is to get the car that best suits your needs rather than worrying about if buts & maybes.
