Hot Pot in London
Discussion
Having a heated discussion with some foodies about where to have a meal and the situation is about to boil over.
Okay, enough of the puns but where does one go for an authentic hot pot experience?
We have found one place (not sure if I can name) but it has a 1-star hygiene rating - that doesn't sound good to me.
Some of my fellow gastronomes think this means it's 'authentic' and fits the stereotype about bad service etc. whereas I don't want to spend the next few weeks wearing a nappy, or worse. I quite fancy the one on Wardour Street as a safe option.

As a Lancastrian myself, it's a good question. However, I'm not aware of any Lancashire cuisine based restaurants in London.
There are some further afield, like this one: https://www.northcote.com/recipes/nigel-haworths-l... but it might be too far...

Is hot pot not protected in that it can only be prepared in Lancashire? I know there are different versions though with an associated regional name (scouse, lobbies etc) not sure on the London versions name.
