Judging by previous threads on E-bargain Porsche, a seller may appear almost believable by having an apparently stable rep behind him, but actually only sold a dozen astras in the process, before advertising someone elses Porsche as his own, at a bargain unmissable price,
get bidding and GOOD LUCK

why would you put a reserve of 9k on it? i dont understand because if that is anywhere less than 10k in 9 days time then i will be selling off my brother to make sure that i cna get it!

beware of ebay sellers who have not got any ebay history. it could be absolutley fine, but you never know with first time sellers.

No, you can BUY IT NOW for £9,000! Let me see...£50,000 car, seller signed up for eBay today. Never sold anything before. Wants to sell it for £9k.

Cheque book or coat? Clue...I won't get a chill.

been a few similar 'bargains' that have been highlighted in this forum lately,
I think they borrow a sale picture elsewhere and list it as own property, then to add further authenticity, call themselves a 'square dealer' in E-bay terms and go fishing for suckers, i'll bet it works sometimes

Re. Flamingeye's link to the 964 convertible on ebay - it's local to me so I emailed the guy as was curious. Not only has it got a smashed quarter window, but I asked the guy a few questions; the guy says he's 'lost' the V5, and that although there's no service history he has recently had the car serviced and cambelt done!

The reg is H551YGT - I don't know if anyone can check these things for free, but if is shown to be stolen rather than just totally dodgy let me know and I'll contact the copshop.

Cheers. Sounds better - the ownership change is about right. Maybe it's just a cheap car for someone...

It caught my eye as being a bit odd, thats all. It is listed in Porsche accessories/parts section (maybe also cars for sale, haven't looked) It was more the strange way it is written (I'm no Shakespeare, fact)calling it an extension ?? etc.
No history? No V5! I know the V5 can be sorted, but surely if you were selling a car you would make sure everything was present and correct. Especially the title.
It is at £6,600 one day left. Hopefully someone will get a bargain.

HAHAHAHa

I have a suspicion he is referring to the fact that some ignorant, jealous people think a Porsche is just an add on to a sad old git's manhood.....

Mind you, he better have a good story as to why he has no V5 if DVLA has an up-to-date record of his PAJ (flamingeye - thats Pride And Joy!).
