chaps, has anyone ever taken off to replace there rear arch stone chip guards? im guessing its just a case of heating up with a heat gun and peeling off gently,.
My PPF installer always removes the factory film before applying XPEL to all panels. Yes, he uses a heat gun to soften the glue. He also add an extra “tear-off” layer of film on the lower guards so that the inevitable marks in the film don’t require the whole panel to be re-filmed.
