2004 Boxster S - Main Beam and Full Beam issue!

Hey Everyone

I have an issue with my boxster head lights.
I have no main beam or full beam - dips work and fog lights work though
The storage thing is that when I “flash” the lights they work but full won’t stay on!

Any ideas?

Which headlamps do you have installed?

When you move the stalk to full beam do the dips go out or remain illuminated?

These are the lights I have. Don’t know what they are called.

So when I turn the light switch once - dips come on.
when I turn again - nothing more,
When I pull out for fogs - fogs come on
When I push forward for full beam (on indicator switch) - Nothing
When I pull indicator switch back to flash - full beams flash!

Does that make sense?

Ordered a new switch which will be here in a few days - but if i press this switch in hard the lights came on tonight!! so defo the switch!
