Heard this on the radio this morning. Apparently it has been identified in the "early stages" of breast cancer, so there is a very good chance she will be okay.

I hope she is okay and makes a full recovery.

i do hope she gets better. and i definitely think that she could be one of the best people to improve public awareness of breast cancer.

Ironically, she's already done a lot for breast cancer awareness - didn't she have an auction of some of her underwear?

It's odd that her immediate predecesor (Australia's first modern pop diva - Olivia Newton-John) also suffered from this ailment at about the same stage in her life.

I hope that having to endure having her medical details aired in public, she doesn't feel compromised or obliged to do the charity thing etc (unless she chooses to) and that she can just get on with dealing with it the way she wants.

Sad news but caught early, hope she'll be OK

Radio news presenter round here said brain cancer in the bulletin earlier today, not heard another one yet for the correction.

Not really that easy to confuse the two locations.
