Galloway in the USA
Discussion
I just can't understand why an English politician has to go to be cross examined by the yanks in the first place!
He is being accused of making money out of Saddam and the oil for food programme FFS...why the hell was the oil for food programme set up? To make money ..but obviously only for the yanks..silly me.
This has to be the worst case of hypocracy ever.
I am curious, what on earth could the US do to him if he went over there and said:
"Yes, Saddam gave me ten million barrels of oil and I sold them and spent the money on weapons to sell to Iran" for example.
What does it have to do with the bloody US?

Hey, when has the truth got in the way of a bit of blame-storming from the US? Next it will be the Mafia if not the man on the grassy knoll - its all a conspiracy you know
However, its brave of Galloway to go their, but I suspect that he might not be able to leave! He is in their sights and there aint much he can do about it. Mind you, I wonder if the Grauniad will get their money back?

he doesn't "have" to go anywhere. my understanding is that he has voluntarily taken up their offer of appearing before the committee.
fraid I live with the old adage - no smoke without fire. and this one is smoking again.
apparently there is new evidence against him (eg not the same evidence from the telegraph).
*was it graunaid or telegraph who got sued?
