Hi all,

The Mrs is thinking of getting back into fashion after ten years out of it, but wants me to help with the business side of things. Her forte is the buying and selling side of things.

This is a good 12m off, so making sure we start with a good plan. With this in mind, I'm wanting to do research into what platforms are available.
It will either be 50/50 online/bricks and mortar, or 100% online. would like a sales platform that integrates/is part of the website, handles dispatch, and integrates with a good acc's package.

What are people experiences/recommendations?

Lol I`m alerted (ta), 100% go Shopify its made for fashion and many themes exist at low cost to make a good looking yet cost effective site.

If you have any questions fire away, POS can easily be integrated at low cost to balance stock.

We have case studies backed up with analytics showing replatform sales kick up HOWEVER - the hard / expensive / soul destroying part is driving traffic to the site, DONT underestimate how hard and expensive this can be. I would start her social media NOW!

Look at Storetasker for low cost set up if your comfortable managing freelancers.

For what your wife is after Shopify is the best option. You can integrate it with Parcel2Go for larger items/express shipping and with most cloud accounting packages.
