Hi there, do I need some sort of lubricant to fit overbraiding to rubber hoses? I don't want to distort the braid by pulling it out of shape or too hard. Is a silicone spray any good? Cheers. John

HT leads are designed with a lot of insulation to stop electricity escaping.
Can be enough of an issue with damp & touching leads causing misfiring & crossfiring.
Can't see putting a nice conductor on the leads as being a good idea.

A quick google & ebay search for 'metal covered ht leads' or similar wordings produces nothing - not even from the Chinese sellers - so that says there's no call for them, probably for the reason above.
