Advice - M3 CS or Guilia QV?
Discussion
Hi all
Im looking to buy either a new Guilia QV or lightly used M3 CS and would appreciate any insights into the driving experience of these two cars?
I have driven a friends Guilia QV on the road and on track and thought it was the best car Ive ever driven. A part of me really wants it.
Another part of me loves the M3 CS as its fairly unique and aggressive (I have not been able to drive one however)
If anyone has driven both I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks
J

Hey. I drove the Alfa and loved it but ended up buying an M2 instead. I liked the gear box on the M2 better (duel clutch ) and the fact it is two door. Oh and cost too had to come into it. £20k less for the M2. Now though I think I’d have the Stelvio QV instead don’t know why just would. Hope this helps a bit.
I currently own a Giulia QF and I've only sat in a standard M3 & M4 and they did nothing for me, same as the C63 AMG I just sat in it and found it just OTT. So I didn't even bother a test drive on any of them. I think they are just a bit too common on the roads, I'm talking the base models obviously, as there's just so many of them, everybody seems to own them.
But the M2 is also a lovely car and rare, and I think that is the only one I would shortlist. But...I absolutely love the M3 CS Frozen Blue colour (I think it's called), I saw one last week on the M40 and it looked just amazing. If I could have that colour on my QF it would be heaven. And the Stelvio QF is £70k+ by the way!
But for the rarity and the way the Giulia looks, sounds and drives it's just the best thing ever IMO. Every day it makes me smile, I feel like a f-in hero driving it, passing all the other cars on the road and nothing in the price range has the same presence. I get loads of people compliment it, I mean sh** loads.... Reliability is also good, I've done 18k now and just a couple of software glitches gives me nothing to worry about.
Nice choice you have there, pick your car wisely!
