Popped this in my Suzuki C800 today:

Usually use Motul semi synth but I got it quite cheap. Its an 800cc V Twin which has a record of high reliability but the odd case of failing cam chain tensioners (they're poxy looking hydraulic things). I know the internet has a tendency to make small issues look incredibly common but figured theres no harm in swapping to fully synth on an engine with 15,000 miles.

I have used it in the last 3 bikes I've owned... collectively just shy of 50k miles on the stuff. I think it's a good deal for a branded fully synthetic and Opie sometimes have it available for £22-23.

When it's fresh the bikes run quiet with a smooth shift. I change my oil every 4k and by then the gearshifts do start to get a bit notchy.

I really like the ultra 4t. Besides anything else it gives a really silky gear change which to me says it’s working well.

Bargain price really. My bike holds less than 3l so it makes sense for me to buy 1l containers and I’ve found carparts4less knock them out at a good price.

Yes I did hear a noticeable change in the way the engine sounded after filling. My bike can be a bit of a pig finding neutral but usually stripping and regreasing the gear changer does the trick
