Car is back up at Joo's for the next couple of days having a few things done.

Namely, a new master cylinder for the clutch, it gave up the ghost the other day and after a nifty little repair (by me and my dad) got it nicely up to Joo's.

The Emerald is going in too!! Should be running well smooth after.... really looking forward to it especially as the Santa Pod day is looming!!!

I just got a fax from Joo with the results of my initial run on the Noble rollers, and.... "as is" (no emerald or mapping session) its currently this:

359.4BHP @ 5860
350.8lbft @ 4601

Of course the curve looks like a camel's back at the moment, but what about those figures???

Almost as good as ausfaldo's from the Cerbera Surrey Rolling Road Day!

I've seen it a few times at Joospeed recently while I've been working on the race car.

Those figures are very good, if you can carry the torque higher up the rev range it could make very good power. Fingers X'd.

Of course, well its been there a lot recently. A fwe problems with clutch and gearbox which should all be sorted now. touch wood!!!!

It will be nice to have a smooth ride instead of a lumpy one for a change!

Jason, saw your beast at Joos yesterday, looks very intimidating with the wing and windows, that alone will be enough to scare your opponents at Santa Pod. Very good "before" figures, so will hopefully see you at 390bhp after. The lumpyness will definitely be improved.

Sunday will be fantastic.... understand ur gettin some sticky tyres to run with???!!!!!

Pity i got a big stereo install, the extra weight will add several tenths!!!!

On top of that though jason is how it holds it's power now well over 7k revs whereas before it dropped like a stone .. you can really hold onto third gear across the line on sunday confident it's not costing you nay hp at all.

go get 'em tiger

Fantastic news! Looks like I'm going to have to strip out more than the back seats!

See you on Sunday...

no induction mods, i have a pair of carbon cans and a pair of pipercross filters for it but as joo said, it will only make a tiny difference. Although it might help with the magic 400 figures!

Gotta fit those into it over the coming weeks, and then, when i get bored...... NOS!!!!!!!! Nothing mental though, probably 150shot direct port!

I am so chuffed i am bouncing up and down here! Hold 7thou plus with no power loss.... WAAHHHHOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Joo, we are not worthy!

That torque figure is stunning, betters mine by nearly 20. I think that's the best power too from the Emerald. Congrats, you deserve it. Hopefully she'll behave herself now.

You should fly at the Pod. C U there.

Guys - please do post your times on here after Sunday!! I'd love to make it, but just can't this weekend unfortunately, but will be very interested to see what times nearly 400hp wil give you - low 12s would be good. I poped in last weekend to the Redline event and thought the average times seemed to have come down a lot since last year, as there were quite a few cars there pulling low 12s. Watched a black Tuscan, he bogged down off the line and only managed a 13.4......

Mint figures!
I too saw it when i popped in to book a power run...(Next friday - base figures)

Speaking to one of the guys he said they would be pushing the 400 mark with that one. They weren't too far wrong.

Torque is a massive!
