992 Turbo

Just saw this on Instagram....pic of the 992 Turbo. Looks great I think! (and also really big when you look at the Carrera in front)

Looks great :-) Much more aero than the 991 by the looks of things. What's happening above the turbo heat outlet? looks like the bodywork is concave but maybe it's just the light and paint?

Still too much gap between top of the tyre and the wheel arch at the front though. I hoped they'd have addressed that with this generation of Turbo.

One of the things I love about the GT3 is how they have got this so right! Barely any gap.

I love the look of this as i think it addresses what i don't like about the 992S LOOKS..! Despite this, i do have a 992S coming in May and will probably switch to the 992TTS as soon as possible..Apparently it will have a minimum of 650PS.!

Well the current turbo is a bit sluggish ,maybe with 650ps it can keep up with a white van.

I wasn't being serious ,who can drive a turbo and think it needs more power ?

And as for the 992 base models..450 bhp on the S the same as the outgoing gts models ,I had the gts and it is more than fast enough,as quick as the gen2 gt3 I replaced it with in a straight line.

Given how quiet everybody says the C2S and C4S are without PSE just how quiet will the TT be?? My 991 TTS makes a nice growl when you give the fast pedal a decent prod but the rest of the time the sound is pretty boring.

Will the 992 TTS basically sound like a Tesla??

The recent footage of the 992 Turbo at the Ring showed two cars..One had the quad square tail pipes and the other the twin oval tail pipes..Does this mean that there will be a PSE option or do they differentiate between the 992 Turbo and Turbo S..?

It might be a trick of the light but the back end seems to have too much going on: it looks over-styled. I prefer a simpler rump.

It's probably a trick of the light. However I was still a bit surprised that you had written the car off based solely on its rear design without knowing the specs, reading a review or driving the car.
