my s2 is shortly in need ot 2 new tyre on the front, the tyres were on the car when I boought it last september, these are Bridgestone RE71 `s 205/60/zr15.
after the usual rounds with local suppliers have been told that the re71 is discontinued by bridgestone, and the replacement is the ER30 but this is W rated, cost on these £105 each all in.
Can you lads let me know on what tyres you`re running on, and do I need a Z rated on an s2?
are the cheaper tyres, Khumo, etc worth a look?

I've been running RE 720's for the past 2 years. They wear extremely well and are good in the wet.

Should be able to get them for around £65/corner fitted & balanced.

Thanks for that bit of advice mowog, I live local to Cardiff, in St Athan village near Llantwit Major. Are you local to Cardiff as well? if so we will have to get together and have a drive out sometime.
