Electric Cabriolet - no options?
Discussion
Mrs Crash prob due a new car. She's currently in a 1 Series cabriolet which is great, she only does short journeys, whenever we do a long run I drive, in my car. Seems the natural option in this day and age should be something we can plug in overnight, save the environment and go down the 'clean' route (I appreciate the electricity comes from somewhere, predominantly still fossil fired but that's not what's being jammed down our neck from UK plc).
Currently, unless I'm mistaken, the market seems bereft of electric cabriolet options. Is that really still the case or am I missing a trick?
Cheers,
Crash

OK ok... Tesla Roadster, i8 etc all well and good but not enough depth of pocket for that I'm afraid. But why still no 2 series, 4 series, c class, Golf Cabriolet etc in electric format?!
been in same situation as OP early this yearTesla and i8 cost a fortune and only choice left would be Fortwo which you could get 2 series conv for almost the same price, and sadly i decide to go for another petrol. EV market still very young, lack of choice and high price tag
