Pulling to the right
Discussion
I have a 2017 Leon 1.6 tdi. I had a puncture in the front right tyre and replaced it with the same Hankook tyre as on the rest of the car. The car now pulls to the right under acceleration but is completely straight when braking. I went back and had the tracking checked and was assured it was fine, I also had it checked elsewhere where I was told it was fine. The left front tyre has around 3-4mm tread left. Is difference in mm tread enough to cause the pull or do I have another problem?
Many, many years ago when I was a member of the motor trade - mending cars, one of the tricks to sort out a car that was pulling one way or the other was to swap the front wheels over. There never was a logical reason why this would work - but it usually did.
Checking the track, tyre pressures, or wheelbase made no difference, but swapping the wheels over did.......stoopid.

Differing diameters will obviously affect how the torque is put down left/right but whether it is enough to be felt I am not sure.
Nothing to lose by swapping them over of course, however it could be that you are only now feeing torque-steer due to being more familiar/sensitive with the car.
