First time post but looking for some help to see if people are finding same issues

I have a 2016 S18d X1 xline that seems to eat through tyres unlike any other car I have previously owned.

After year an half the fronts needing changing around 7500miles. Had Pirelli P Zero’s on them. Thought it run out quick as previously my Mercedes and Audi got over 15,000 miles without a tyre change...

I then changed the rears at 22,000

Now a year later and again only 8,000 later I need another set on the front.... is it the car that eats through these tyres or is it that P Zeros just have no longevity....

So In only 23,000 I will have needed to change the front twice and the rears once...

Don’t get me started on the tyres they seem to be a nightmare to get hold of... impossible to get the 225/50 r18 99w anywhere with most tyre garages stating they have never been asked for this size...

Not sure what to put on the fronts now as so unhappy with the wear of the Pirelli...

I rotate my 2017 X1s tires as advised to spread out wear. Im getting similar wear to you , though it’s the more powerful 20d and I do drive it pretty fast in sport suspension mostly and frequently in sport automatic.
It came with Bridgestone Turanzas which do wear slower than Pirelli P Zeros. Neither are run flats and my experience is with 18s.
Try Bridgestones , just make sure you stick to *
marked, hence BMW approved.

Our 2.0d original P7s lasted 22k on the front. Now discontinued, the replacement PZeros are at 12k and 5mm left so half worn.
Get your alignment/tracking checked?
Do you go around many corners?

335d here shod with P Zeros, the car is at 26k miles from new, tyres are at 3mm front and 4mm rear (x-drive, of course). I am about to swap wheels and tyres from 19” to 18”. Winters have not been used, they have been the only tyres on the car. I have been quite happy with them. Sizes are 225/40x19 front, 255/35x19 rear

Is the tyre wear even or uneven?

What kind of driving do you do?
