ACT Induction Kit

Any feedback on the ACT induction kit for a Chimaera, namely K&N filter, smooth bore pipes etc. I am considering the kit as my inlet hose is now starting to perish & would be grateful for any comments?

Fantastic piece of kit. Decent performance upgrade for not a lot of wedge (it looks good too).

To stop myself from sounding like a broken record...

I've got one, can't say I've noticed much of a power gain but I already had a silicon hose from the afm to the plemum and I kept the foam air filter as it had only just been replaced at a service a week before.
The two pipes are a tad tricky to fit, if you get one e-mail me and I'll tell you how I did it otherwise it might take a few goes, well it did for me anyway.

Ive got one and think they are a simple, but effective upgrade that you are probably going to have to do at some stage if you intend to do any other more complex tuning to the engine.

Fittting is a definite 2 man job.

yep

and get enough act heat sleeving to cover both elements of the intake pipe, and 4 stainless cable ties from demon tweaks to secure it.

It keeps the air cool for max esplosivity and protects teh pipe.
