I’m going to Milan at the end of the week and I know a few on here have been to Italy to do bike related things. Anyone got any suggestions for bikey stuff around the Milan area?

Jump on the train to Bologna (not too far) and visit the Ducati factory / museum

I will be going to monza, we’re staying round the corner.

Bologna could be a good shout actually. I didn’t realise it was that close, I was thinking of going to Turin but that would be better.

Try and get along to the Deus et Machina cafe/bar/restaurant in the centre of Milan.

Also the Alfa-Romeo museum in Arese is one of the best car museums in the world.

Riding Monza the Parabolica is awesome fun mostly 4th gear with 5th on exit, Curve Grande however is short shift into 5th gear upon entry and even more of a buzz.

Wander in as a spectator and climb the old banking - truly terrifying! The actual park itself is lovely & laid back on a non motorsport day.

Not bikey but surely no petrolhead can visit Northern Italy without going to Turin for Italian Job rooftop test track silliness? The car museum is really good, too.

Think the Moto Guzzi museum isn't that far from Milan, somewhere near Lake Como

Been to the Lamborghini and Ferrari museums today. The Lamborghini museum is good but not a patch on the Ferrari ones. We were going to go to the Ducati museum but it’s closed on a weekend which was a shame but I enjoyed the day. Going to have a look round monza tomorrow and probably go to the Alfa Romeo museum Monday.
