Brake dust shields

If the dust shield is catching it will be making an awful noise all the time the wheels are turning.
I don't think the dust shield is an essential requirement for mot purposes, but it does have a job.
The clunk is likely to be pads moving in the caliper, or the caliper itself moving etc. Needs investigating, quite urgently by the sound of it.
