Little help required!!

Hi everyone,
Have been a member on her for a while, find it a great source for information so keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!
I have a 2000 Tuscan and have a few problems and just hoping that some of your knowledge can answer a few questions for me!!!!So here goes......
Car hasnt been driven for over 6 months, possibly longer, had a front end crash, only front end damage to body and just finished getting it sorted!
1.Having problems with drivers window, only shuts when it wants to!!!opened up the plate and the sensor and door lock seen to be touching, sometimes it works sometimes not!!!Does this usually mean a new sensor???Any ideas how much???
2.The speedo and digital display/change up lights are not work, although the back light is and when I turn the beast on the change up lights flash. been told that they all do this if left for ages and after a while sort themselves out???Anybody had this???
3.Gear box is now playing up, pops out of 1st straight away, and 5th after a while.......been told that this can sometimes happens after a front end bump can sort it self out or the gator/gear selector is out of sync?Any ideas?????
4. Last but not least, my back window rattles so much!!!!Whats the best way to stop it please!!!!!!!!!
As you can see im not the most mechanically gifted, but i love this car!!!!!! Forgot how awful they sound when starting, after a few mins they sound the dogs!!!!!

I'm no expert but here is my best efforts:
1. Could be just the window glass sticking, gean the rubber etc, wind it all the way down and then up again slowly.
2. No idea?
3. Still no idea?
4. Use silicone on the rubbers and then velcro (soft fluffy side only) at top and on the catches. If the boot lid is rubbing on the window some more vercro should shut the thing up. If you already have velcro then change it for new.
Sorry I can only help with some of the cosmetic issues, I'm sure someone else eher could advise on the rest.

1. Could be a dodgy encoder if water has got in whilst stood.
3. Does sound like it may be a linkage problem, if the lever can't move far enough forward to select the gears fully.
4. If it's rattling are you sure it isn't you roof on the retaining pins? If so either get the pins adjusted, or a small square of velcro on the bottom of the tubes in the roof corners helps. Rear windows tend to squeak.
