Speeding Fixed Penalty Notices 2019
Discussion
Hi guys,
Seems to be a lot of conflicting information on what is currently a FPN for low speed offences ie 75-80mph on a dual carriageway.
The .gov website says it’s £100 fine and 3 points and everywhere else states it’s currently band A-B-C.
What’s currently enforced in England?
Thanks in advance

If you are suitable for a fixed penalty ticket (up to 95MPH) in a 70 zone, you will be offered that.
You'll need to have less than nine current points on your licence for it to dealt with that way.
You can elect to go to court, which is fine the bandings come into play and it's a % of your weekly income. (Assuming you are found guilty).
If you have nine or more points or going too fast (26MPH+) over the speed limit (other than in a 30 when it's 50+) you'll be off to court as well.
