There same as mini Mg ect you can buy ones with bulb holders instead of sealed beam

Are these any better than the originals? or is there a better alternative to the standard candle light strength crappy originals? I have to change mine after all the years of putting up with seeing nothing in the dark.

If they are running orangey you can upgrade the front loom with heavier wire, that can help, after that (not before) you can then upgrade the bulbs.

Poor wiring is the main cause of poor headlight output. Then the reflectors in the lamp assemblies failing.

LED lamp assemblies are available for a simple swap. The lower electrical demand suits the poor factory wiring choices.

Alternatively a rewire with proper sized cables, connectors and relays finished with a set of modern incandescent bulbs would give a good improvement.
