Anybody used Rob Ingleby?

Hi all,
Being new to the Chim and all things TVR, I thought I might take Rob Ingleby up on his "full service" ie finding car, inspecting it, negotiating price etc.
Spoke to him earlier today, but just have a few questions for those who have used him.
1) What did you think of the service?
2) What did he manage to get off the asking price for you?
3) Did he keep on looking until he found the right one for you without charging more than the flat £600?
4) Did you have any kind of written contract?
5) How long did he take to find you your car?
6) Any other comments?

"I used Rob last winter for my Chim.
As it was my first, I reasoned that as I had no idea what to look for when test driving etc. it was better to pay someone else to look for me.
Sent him an email wish list and six weeks later he came up with what he thought was a good buy. (he kept me posted in the interim as to what he had seen and why he didn't think they were any good).
Didn't expect any discount on price, although it was nice to have someone else dance the dance with the vendor.
Was pleased when Rob got 500 quid off the asking price; which neatly corresponded with what I paid him!
Result for all concerned.
He gave me list of faults with the car which I later had verified independantly by David Batty.
I'm really happy with the service I got from him and would suggest you speak at length with him on the phone and see what you think and make up your own mind."
Having spoken to other people since then about Rob, all I've heard is nice comments so I'll stick with this opinion and would use him again; even though I'm now your typical TVR know it all!
I used him to inspect a car that I found myself mainly for piece of mind as I had already negotiated a very good price. He is a really nice guy and gives an excellent service at a good price. He pointed out all the good and bad points leaving me feely really happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend his service and will definetely use him again!! 
Yes, agreed. Excellent service. Found a very good car and got it at a price discount which more than covered the cost of his fee. Car has been perfect.
My view was that if you employ someone to do a job you let him get on with it so I bought the one he recommended and I reckon it's a rather fine machine (see profile!).
He must have driven 100s and I reckon if he says it's good he's much more likely to be right than I would be.

Rob found my Chim for me and we got it for £15000 when the vendor wanted £17995. Rob argued rightly that he sees hundreds of Chims a year and can give an honest opinion on what it was realistically worth with the work that needed doing to it. It did need a few things putting right but as Rob told me it was "a diamond in the rough" as the servicing etc was spot on. His fee is worth it alone on the amount of running around you would do/petrol etc you would get thru looking at dogs...Rob will send you photos via email of any he sees that you might be interested in...Well worth it even though I never got my report he promised me...
Have to echo all positives here...
We bought our little yellow 450 through him just under 2 years ago. Gave us honest advice about budget and what we should expect
Excellent services - patient and deliberate and understnding of impatient calls for ones new pride and joy.
Good reports and stands the new ownership experience in good stead.
All in my own opinion of course, but I for one will use his servcies again
