Anyone tried to search for a car using the new "improved" pre-owned finder on the Porsche UK website?

Unless I'm missing something, it's completely useless. Can merely filter it down to 911 - not a specific variant.

I think its an improvement ! Partly because the filters allow a quick check on all the 911 variants together with colour etc.
Also the image quality is improved.

I sent my comments to Porsche but they were returned as criticism.

I may be wrong but I don't think that you can separate Cayman from Boxster or 911 variants from each other except by choosing engine power, perhaps year etc. Guesswork for me.

When you have trawled your way through dozens of 911 and looked at one you are then taken back to the start.

Much harder to use, unless I'm missing something but happy to be corrected.

Nope that is st. Not surprised they consider any comment as criticism, they have being polite'ish a bad attitude to customers.

I think the change says more about how little they care for enthusiasts who know a bit about the cars.

Email Porsche at customer services
It needs to be changed back or they'll sell nothing

Under the pictures of the models there is a 'Generation' drop down list where you can select 987, 981 etc.

Just underneath this there is a set of Model Version check boxes where you can select 718 Cayman GTS, Cayman GTS etc.

If you pick multiple models the Generation drop down contains both i.e. 987, 981, 991, 997 etc.

The Model Version section then has a 'tab' for each model i.e. 718 Boxster/Cayman and a 911 tab.

The new search is more powerful, but there was a nice simplicity to the previous site.

Images are definitely a lot nicer.

Yep, once you've made an initial selection go the cars list. Then if you hit Model you can drill down on variants.

Two steps rather than the old one step, but the functionality is still there.

Ah, got it. Not immediately obvious though.

I'm glad this has been mentioned - I thought it was me.

Yesterday it was fine, but today it is awful.

Can someone forward this thread to Porsche, as the new system is rubbish and nowhere near as good to use as the old one.

I think it's better.

The navigation is easy and the images are far superior.

Thank you. Corrected!

Although it doesn't distinguish between 911 models (991/ 997 etc) does it?

Yep. Just need to drill down to the specific model to get to that point.

Been using it on an iPhone. No problem finding there are just two 997 GTS Coupes in the network.

Persevere, it does work.

For reference I work for a cloud software company. We field criticism every time we do an update! However we love our customers and we do take all their feedback very seriously.

Take Change by the hand....... otherwise Change will take you by the throat.....

Having said that, my initial impressions are it's a bit st!!! ;-)

(It's also made me consider quite why I'm on the approved used search engine every single day, when I am absolutely not in the market for a new car!!)

agree unusable :-(

seems no easy way to look for a Cayman 981 GTS as an example, where it was one page and 2 clicks before
