Nothing has changed, mostly bins being exploded with fireworks in my experience. We leave the track and start home, normally stay in Sées at one of the hotels

Last year I went to Le Mans Town. Everything stays open late on the weekend so lots of bars and restaurants etc. to check out.

thanks everyone . heading into town sounds a good idea. Are the free trams still running at that time, what's the alternative transport. Cheers

The alternative to a free tram is to pay for one

Trams have never been free. You are supposed to buy a ticket!

The stops don't change either. They are same every day of the year.

I think they run later in race week though...

The normal timetable gives these times from République heading towards Antares on Sundays:

20h23 20h42 21h01 21h20 21h38 21h56

I answered your question. The trams aren't free and there are no different stops.

Stop being so precious.

We usually head into Arnage on the Sunday night. Pretty chilled, a steak dinner and red wine... and quite often plenty of nice cars tooling about.

Some useful replies on here and thanks to the OP, my first year last year with the lads, we stayed on blue nord, was a great weekend and went back Monday, that all said and done there were the usual idiots on blue nord Sunday night burning tyres, doing dounuts and peppering other people's cars with mud and stones etc

We were literally opposite the PH site and there were a fair few idiots on there too, tent set on fire but to be fair I think they were asked to leave.

I'd be warey of leaving the car and tent unattended on Sunday night with zero security on blue nord.

I love Sundays post race LM ..avoiding the rush you can wander back up to the pits see the cars returning from scrutineering and the teams pack up .have a nice relaxed BBQ drink a few beers with the neighbours on the site and set early Monday .. works every year for us

I am with you on this actually, rather not join the rat race on leaving Sunday night, BBQ and beers, pack as much away as possible to make leaving early Monday morning as easy as possible
