Hi newbie lurker for years,
i'm 45 now and was recently shocked to hear about the end of performance bikes, my parents had a newsagents as a kid, so i could reach the middle shelf quite easy. Fast foward 30 year's and my collection of Pb's, fast bikes, rpm?, what bike, streetfighters, bike, ubg, and more .. and i'm wondering if any of you are the same in thinking that you know it's all got to go someday, but you brink yourself to do it ?
Same thing with vhs cassettes/ recordings of race weekends from the 90's lol, probably won't watch them frown but can't throw them.

Yep, its all gone/going online, digital, consumed via a display of some kind. I do still get a couple of magazines (practical performance bike subscription with my lloyds bank account) but mostly read online these days.

You have to choose either to have a good clear out, or if you have the space, store everything in the hope it may be worth something to collectors in 20 or 30 years smile

I have a fairly large motoring archive car and bike and am constantly referring to it, sales brochures, mags, articles, photos, etc etc, going back to the 1960s, but the thought of getting rid horrifies me !

£7.99 a month via Readly app on ipad.

Performance bikes and Ride magazine. Those two magazines alone are more expensive than the subscription to readly a month, let alone all the other magazines i subscribe to.. including practical caravan. Seriously would never subscribe or read if it wasn't so cheap!

...and I remember reading this particular mag when it first came out (I remember the cover) !

I then did what you do, and went out and bought a new R1 - in blue like this one - only to find out that I was slower on that than I had been on my ZX9R-C1. Probably said more about my riding than the bikes though...biggrin

+1. Great value for money although its a shame MCN seems to have dropped off the radar

I had Zx9 b model for a while , sorry but hated it, wouldn't turn , calipers stuck if you sneezed at it lol, preferred the zzr11 for it's comfort.

I did get it in my head one day to get the Ten tho .. despite what my head said my heart wanted a Zx 10 2005, so boxing day one year my mate and i headed for Burgess hill sussex and paid £4500 for this ..was such an xmas bargain , our trip home on the M23 was epic !
