It seems to be the only "free" colour ,dealer wants you to spend more on another colour.
It's grey ,IMO ,no one "wants" grey ,not ever.
Haha, we’ll my current car is Indium Grey, and the BMW I have on order is Mineral Grey, both cost options! It's grey ,IMO ,no one "wants" grey ,not ever.
Urano is awful though, IMO.

Avoid, looks bloody awful. Like a dark primer that’s been given a gloss coat.
I think white is the other non-cost colour and as much as I’m against white cars generally, anything is better than Urano....
They charge for while on some, if not all, models. Story goes it was because too many people were choosing it.I think white is the other non-cost colour and as much as I’m against white cars generally, anything is better than Urano....
I find VWs attitude odd - years ago with company cars we could only have metallic as it helped the resale, yet when I looked at PCH on a Tiguan the extra monthly for metallic over 3yrs was more that it cost as an option!
My Passat Alltrack was Urano. Looked great when freshly cleaned and suites the car. It does not look dull if waxed.
But as someone else said - colour choice is purely subjective and IMO some cars look better in some colours than others.
On a cheap lease I would always go for the free option unless it was pink. For a keeper it would depend on the car - I always thought a Porsche or other sporty car should be a bright crazy colour, not resale metallic grey or silver....

Get with it, Grey is very 'in' at the moment... but it has to be the right shade. Somewhere between clear coated primer and Dove grey. It's grey ,IMO ,no one "wants" grey ,not ever.
Doubt Urano fits that description though
VW Colour options are abysmal. They do a solid red (solid as in non-metallic, not solid as in 'good'), a very conservative metallic blue (conservative as in boring), and other than that you've got varying degrees of monochrome and a beige or two.

I quite like the Turmeric shade they do on the Golf, but it's expensive to add onto a lease or PCP. Doubt Urano fits that description though
