I am looking at buying a Sagaris. The one I was looking at on Saturday had an error 149. I believe this is a clock battery issue. Looking at past threads this has not been discussed since 2007 and then the answer was inconclusive, I can therefore assume it is not too common

My question is simply is it easy to fix, or what is the consequence of living with it

It just means the battery backup in the pod display is dead, will need sending of to some one to change and reprogram. Mine went to python racing about £100 to sort I seem to remember

Reason for this: they did not integrate a function to reinstall the correct time at this clock.

Thanks Everyone

I think I can conclude it's not a major issue and £100 (ish) will resolve it.

I now have to find the right one for me to buy. My only dilemma is (and without drifting into another ongoing thread or being political) when to buy, now or wait a couple of months confused
