My Boxster S is due an annual service (even though it's only done 3k since last year) and I've just been quoted £352 inc VAT from an OPC (it's the minor service). Does this sound about right and is it advisable to get it done even though the miles are so low?

Also it has an extended warrantee which is due for renewal next month at a cost of £725, do you think this is worth doing (for peace of mind and resale)?

Any opinions gratefully received!

Its Fixed price servicing across the OPC network so the £352 will be the same at any Porsche centre for this service.
Bite the bullet I'd say but while they are at it get them to check EVERYTHING covered under the warranty before it runs out. The OPC will then look for everything they can find fault wise, as its in their interest to do the work under the warranty and claim back the cost of the parts and labour from Porsche directly. Which is also good for you as you wont have to pay for anything that needs doing under the warranty.
There are lots of other specialist independants about if you arent bothered about that OPC stamp in your service book but on this occasion due to the warranty I personally would let the OPC service the car. You can always take it elsewhere next time.

Is that OPC or independant? Mine needs a 48K service, but I think I'm going independant from now on. We have a good one near here, and at six years old I can't justify the premium for a FPSH any more.
