I dreamt of getting a Griff for longer than I can remember, and now after only 6 weeks of ownership I'm having to sell her, I'm absolutely gutted! I feel like I'm betraying her, 'cos she hasn't let me down once, and has given me endless hours of smiles and fun!

There isn't really a sob story behind the reason to sell, 'cos I'm moving to Australia which is pretty cool! But I can't really afford to have it sitting around here for a year before I could ship it over though, so she's gotta go.....

I know I haven't been on here much, but thanks for any advice and support you guys and gal's have given me over the last couple of months. If any of you know someone who fancies a bargain then send 'em my way

Karl

Try emailing sezdee..

her and her chap were looking for one a while back, and if it really is a bargain then you might be able to whet their appetites (say I sent you).. worth an ask.

Cheers,
Matt.

I fly out next Thursday!

I only found out about the position a few weeks ago, and was offered it last week, so it's a bit a manic at the moment, trying to sort my visa's out, etc, as well as selling my Griff

Karl, drop Yellow Peril a line (Mid Essex TVRCC RO) as she often has a list of people looking for cars...

Almost worse to have only had it a few months than not at all! Well almost...

No chance to take it with you I suppose - think about burbling along to a beach barbie with a boot full of the amber nectar! Could be a good way of meeting people and getting a few friends!

Oh I wish..... That's the first thing I thought when I got offered the job, driving down the beach front in a burbling british V8, fantastic! But unfortunately their import laws don't allow it, not without a lot of aggro and waiting anyway, so she had to go, and she has.....

Yes, thats right, she's gone already, I keep looking out of my front window to see if I've dreamt it all but I haven't, what have I done!!!

I have to say I was amazed with the interest I got, no less than 15 people contacted me within 2 days! I feel a bit bad that some of them sounded genuine and would have made a great owner for her, but I needed a really quick sale so ended up selling to a dealer for a stupid price! If anyone of you are on here, if you're still interested in the car send me a mail and I'll pass on the details of the dealer, I understand he will be selling it on very quickly for a similarly silly price.

All thats left to say is, it was an amazing car to own, exhilarating, nerve racking, overall awesome, and if I ever come back I know what my first purchase will be!
