Quick comment from folks on here please. The doors and rear wing are dented and paint scratched so clearly it won't polish out.

What's
the likely cost to repair to a reasonable standard?

Mates rates, decent ish job or mint job?

How long is a piece of string?

Between £500 and £1000 depending.
Best bet is surely go to a few body shops and get a variety of quotes.

Edit : sorry noticed the wing was damaged too. Add £300 to either end of that quote.

Thanks for mods moving this. I'll get a proper repair quote from a body shop asap but as it's is an older car (worth more to me than any cash value) I'm keen to get an idea of likely repair costs because there is a risk of write off.

My wife's Civic (2008) needed just a new wing after hitting a wooden post. That cost £1200 plus VAT! I thought the insurers may have a written it off but thankfully not.

If it's written off it will be a cat D/N
So you can buy it back from the insurance company for peanuts.

If it was crashed into by someone who wants to deal with it outside of insurance i would get quotes and private to a customer off the street it would be well into 4 figures.

If you crashed it yourself then I'd just leave it.
