I had cause today to be in Exeter with the work car and upon arrival went to move it a few yards and all I got was click click.
A white van man who kindly obliged with a jump start and I headed off to Peninsula....I was going to drop in anyway @ lunch time just for a nose around, see whats what etc.
Once there they tested the alternator with the engine still running...a ok....so then switched of and a dead battery was confrimed....14% cranking power.
It took a little time but no reward as asked for...thanks for your help.
PS Get well soon wishes to Richard Smith who I gather is not at all well @ the moment.
