First cars are due for September delivery I was told last week. When I specced one up it came out at £83k. Hmmm... think I’ll hand on for the new X5M with deliveries very early next year which at least has an interior which can justify it’s pricing.

£83 000?! Wow. You'd have to really really want one at that sort of money.

I think you’re right. 83k for an X3 is abysmal pricing and you’ll only watch an X5M roll by and feel pangs of jealousy.

I remember the early X3s and I don’t know if it was the narrow aspect of the car in relation to height but it never felt a ‘planted’ car to me. I know we are talking about a few iterations on but to my mind the X5 platform is a more natural fit when laying on the extra power that comes in ‘M’ format. More stable and in turn feels more luxurious.

I'd expect the X5M to be 100k+ around 25-30k more than the X3M.

I like the look of the new X3M and will probably be my next family car.
Wouldn't buy new though as M cars having shocking depreciation so will wait a year or so after they are out.

Give them a year, they’ll be £20k off and 0%

We should all know this by now. Fools rush in.
