Cr1tch's MK4 Golf GTi.
Discussion
Firstly I'd like to introduce myself I'm Dan be been lurking around for quite some time but only just signed up... I got my mk4 GTi in January 2017 but not yet posted on the forum... I purchased my golf in January with only 49 k!!! on the clocks in original untouched condition with a complete full vw service history..First thing that I did was refreshed and renewed all the brakes and discs Inc brake fliuds., Also at the same time had the belt and water pump changed.
Over the summer decide that I wanted the body work putting right as last owner was a woman and all four corners hads little bumper and scrapes, so sent off to the bodyshop for a full respray. After lots of decision rather to start some engine mods or suspension upgrades I decided that I would go for the safe option and upgrade my suspension next.
So I final bit the bullet and decided on a full Audi TT complete set up front and rear ( Which I found a guy on the Mk4 golf forum on FB) overall I've probably spent about 3k on the suspension, fully poly bushed every single nut and boLt replaced, also upgraded the brakes to R32 front and anniversary rears a set of AP coilovers...
Interior has had a little update with balck headliner, pillars etc... Alloy trim and Bora/ anniversary clocks with needle sweep, miles to empty and a few other tweeks.
Next mods.
Engine mods
And interior..
Cheers for reading.
Dan.

Another example is a neighbour who moved here recently - she had a Peugeot 206 and that too didn't have a panel that wasn't scratched or dented - and her replacement car is rapidly heading the same way...
So although a sweeping generalisation, women do have form for treating cars like this.
Haters gonna hate!!!
