Discussion
I have a number of classic cars and have generally found that they are more easily, and cheaply, insured through separate classic policies than by adding them onto a mainstream policy which also covers 'daily' cars.
Most mainstream insurers don't seem to understand classic cars and seem disinterested or unwilling to insure them.
However I do have some classics insured on a single policy which can be very cost effetive. By way of example last year I was insuring a classic Lotus Elan and Alfa Spider together for around £165 pa.
