Ladies Omega Seamaster - crown

The crown on my wife's Omega Seamaster (quartz) has "fallen off" while a local jeweller was changing the battery. Needless to say I was not impressed and the bottom line is I need to get it repaired. I have no confidence in the jewellers 'repair guy' even thou he offered to get me a quote for the repair.
Can anyone recommend a watch repairer in the Reading/Wokingham area who is able to repair these sorts of things?...………...before I get the watch sent off to Omega for a quote...…..and the obligatory service.
For information, the watch is 10 years old and is in otherwise Mint condition...……….having only been worn 3-4 times a year since original purchase.
