1 year's Service

My Tam is almost a year old but she's only done just over 2,200 miles. Should I have her serviced now or wait until she's done 6,000 miles?

1,000 mile service was in September 2004

The handbook says 6000 miles OR 1 year so it's ready for fettling in September, or you'll lose any warranty.

If they did the first oil change at 1,000 in September then shirley he doesn't need to get the 6,000 mile service done until September 2005??

BTW, I suggest getting the car out and driving it! At 2,200 miles its hardly run in. They get faster with miles

Just checked with main dealer, they say its one year from date of purchase!

Had my 6k done after a year (4000 miles). I'm now trying to rememdy the low mileage situation

I always meant 6k, not 1k as previously stated

Mine had the 6000 at 2000 miles on its first birthday.

Since I've had it it's in twice a year and is running much better.

Hummm, get some mileage on it, mine is now at 6800 and improving more than ever. I think the servicing is surely every 12 months based on last service or 6000 miles! Mine is coming up for 12 months and its had 2 services already!
